Gold Smith Accounting

The Goldsmith Accounting module addresses the unique accounting needs of goldmiths, which involved working with precious metals, gemstones and intricate Jewellery designs. This modules allows the businesses to track and manage precious metals, gemstones and other materials used in jewellry production. Since goldsmiths often work on custom orders, this module helps in allocating materials, labor, and other expense to determine profitability with high levels of accuracy.

Master Data Setup

Involves the configuration and storage of core data elements, such as supplier (goldsmith) information, stone master, stone purity details, metal categories and other crucial data from goldsmith perspective

Order Entry

This feature allows you to record all the custom orders received from the client. It includes the design code, stone code, order number, goldsmith allocated and expected delivery from the goldsmith (kariger). The order entry can be printed and given to the goldsmith as a confirmation copy.

Stone Issued to Goldsmiths

Once the design (ghat) is ready and approved, the required stones are issued to the goldsmith against the order. This feature enables the businesses to keep a record of the stones issued to the goldsmiths against respective customer orders. They can also print the stone issue tag and share with the goldsmiths, eliminating the earlier process of sharing a hand-written paper with them

Ornament Receipt from Goldsmiths

The goldsmith will set the stones on the metal issued as per the design finalized. This feature is used to record the ornaments received from the goldsmith including the detail of stones and pearls (Bandini receipt). The businesses can also print the stone issue tag and share with the goldsmiths, eliminating the earlier process of sharing a hand-written paper with them

Custom Reporting

The businesses can view and print multiple report types – list of all orders received from customers, goldsmith-wise reports for stone issued, metal issued, ornaments received, pending orders, etc.
